So with Yarm and Vlasic injured we have virtually no attacking options from the bench, fucking marvelous! The sooner that Ruskie cunt fucks off back behind the iron curtain the better.
Looking forward to to this immensely, and looking at today as a bit of a free hit. Just want to see us do ourselves justice and give them a proper game, no reason why we shouldn't. Just hope that bit of luck falls our way on the day.

Difficult game this one. All of the current top six teams bar Chelsea have picked up more points aways so far this season. I'm going for a score draw.

Normally go to this game with my Pool supporting best mate, really gutted to be missing it. I actually think we have more chance against them away, going for a draw 2-2. Lazini off the bench to equalise late on (watch him in the starting lineup now).

I've no doubt we'll turn up, but a lot hinges on the referee. I expect a few early yellows, a possible red and salah diving every time we go near him

Impossible to predict all depends how we approach this match.
Set up like we did last season will play right into their hands.
Hopefully Moyes has learnt from last season.
I'd be happy with a draw to be honest.

If someone offerred me a cracking game ending 2-2 I'd take it now. Saying that,they didnt have it all their own way at Anfield against Brighton last week so who knows?

Gutted that I'm not going to be there today. I've been rough all week so put up three seats on the clubs ticket exchange yesterday. They were sold in less than 15 minutes. So I'm guessing its going to be a full house today.
I just hope we give it a go and not go too defensive. 2-1 to us.

Our luck and record against this lot is atrocious sometimes we bring it on ourselves by playing scared. I bloody hope today we go for it and I’d rather see us lose 4-2 giving it a bloody good go rather than meekly surrendering a 2-0.
We are a top six club. We have to play like one.

But I am predicting at least one very dodgy decision going their way leading to a goal, or a wonder/absolute fluke goal from one of them. Seems to be par for the course.

I don’t think we played more cautiously than usual last season. We set up defensively solidas always, which you have to be against this lot. The problem was we were extra wasteful when we tried to counter, panicking and fluffing the simplest of passes. We lost the game in our heads; stage fright just when we should have made a real statement.
Actually, we managed to keep them out for pretty much the whole game, but we’re ultimately undone by three moments of magic. I would have really enjoyed their goals if they weren’t against us. On another day we would have had a cheeky 1-0 win with Dawson’s (?) header.
Here we have another chance to make a real statement. Let’s hope we are fearless and take our chances.
